Session Stats

Press [F3] · what you've done since you loaded in, paired against what you've ever done

A quiet panel almost nobody presses the key for: [F3] opens a live counter, in the game's own words built in the spirit of "RuneLite's counter" — a nod to the popular RuneScape client add-on that does the same thing. It tracks five things about your current play session — kills, distance, cash, XP, and time — each paired against the equivalent lifetime figure where one exists, updating every frame while the panel is open.

The nine rows

RowResets on reload?
Enemies SlainYes — session only
Lifetime KillsNo
Deaths (lifetime)No — no session counterpart
Distance TravelledYes — session only
Lifetime DistanceNo
Cash EarnedYes — session only
XP GainedYes — session only
Time PlayedYes — session only
Lifetime Time PlayedNo

The panel itself carries a footer note saying exactly this: rows without "lifetime" in the name reset the moment you reload or close the tab; the ones that say lifetime never do. Cash Earned and XP Gained are measured against a baseline taken the moment the panel's tracking starts, so they read the real net change for the session even if you've spent money or lost XP some other way in the meantime.

Built to survive being wrong once already

The kill counter in particular has a documented history of being wrong in ways worth knowing about. An early version watched the live list of enemies in the world and counted any one that stopped being "alive" — which double-counted enemies that simply despawned from wandering too far away, rather than actually being killed, inflating the row after nothing more than standing still doing nothing for a couple of minutes. It now reads the exact same lifetime kill counter every other kill-tracking system in the game already relies on and reports the session's own count as the difference against a baseline taken when tracking began — exact rather than inferred, and immune to that specific bug by construction.

Version history

  • Added, with kills, distance, cash, XP and time all tracked for the session.
  • Lifetime kill tracking rebuilt after the double-counting bug described above was found — the session figure now derives from the same exact lifetime counter the rest of the game uses, rather than watching the world's enemy list directly.
  • Lifetime distance, lifetime deaths, and lifetime time played added alongside their existing session-only counterparts, following the same pairing pattern each time.
  • Fixed the two distance rows disagreeing in units. The lifetime row switched to kilometres past 1,000m while the session row directly above it kept printing plain, ever-growing metres — a long session's own number could run to seven digits while the lifetime row beneath it read a tidy "5.0 km", making the two impossible to compare at a glance despite sitting one line apart. Both now use the same formatting.

Trivia

  • Deaths has no session-only counterpart at all — only the lifetime total is shown, since a session's own death count resetting to zero on every reload would undercut the point of tracking it.
